Our superb range of teak garden furniture is manufactured locally by the Lister-Lutyens Company using skilled craftsmen. 120 years ago Lister made their furniture using the wood from old British warships but now all of the timber used in their products, as with all of our garden furniture, is sourced from managed forests. Listers timeless designs can be found all over the world in famous gardens, palaces and hotels - not to mention Eastbourne seafront! Using the best teak in the world and skilled local craftsmen, Lister furniture is known universally as second to none, and because teak has such a high oil content it needs no maintenance. It can be left outside all year round without deteriorating. Indeed, such is the quality of Listers range that it is not uncommon for furniture to last 60 or 70 years. Buying Lister furniture isn't just owning a piece of history, it's an investment too.

Another local company, Alexander Rose, supplies all of our iroko range of garden furniture. Designed in England and made in Ghana, this furniture is of an exceptionally high standard. Iroko is similar to teak in that it is a hard wood, and therefore has a long life, but as its oil content is lower it benefits from a regular oiling with teak dressing. Alexander Rose iroko garden furniture represents excellent value for money combining a top quality, crafted product with a keen price - iroko, on average, is 25% cheaper than the equivalent teak item.
